I also noticed the BBC questioner has been reading FWSAAB, probably because of our Beautiful Women section, and articles on unbelieveably hot Mexican Weather Chiquitas, but also referenced the "US", which surely means FWSAAB, pointing out that a clear Negative Arctic Oscilation was occuring. The polar-hurricane which dumped two feet of snow on the northeast was the final "clue"! - HLG
In the interest of fairness I am going to add a hot studs category so that our women readers, while many do (as do I) appreciate a beautiful woman, can look at some fine men. Maybe the pictures alone will melt the deep freeze in the south.

Well - he did say that they finally predicted the cold snap on 28 December. I think they already had a few feet of snow by that point.
