Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Finds Serious Cold on Moon


The LRO has reported back with its mapping radiometer that the permanently shadowed craters of the lunaar south pole, where ice is hoped to be discovered, has permanent temperatures as cold as any in the solar system, of aroun 40 K, or below -350 degrees F. Yow! - HLG
