NHC Satellite Imagery Balky?
The satellite imagery link from the NHC has been out, off and on (mostly out) since late yesterday. Coincidence, or is it being overwhelmed by an east coast threat (worst case is 30 million would have to evacuate IF the storm takes a western track), with the end-of-summer holiday weekend coming up. I'm curious why they never put the Floater on Earl after Danielle FINALLY recurved?
There is an "Earl" floater. They don't always label them quickly, since "Gaston" was stil a wave number when I checked, but had a floater. They will run out of floater space when "Hermine" is named by Friday!
More importantly. Are the Bills REALLY looking to sign Lienart from Arizona???
Indeed, I heard this morning on Sirius NFL Radio that they were 1 of 3 teams interested in him. Don't do us any favors ... I'd hate to see them get rid of Fitzpatrick or Brohm to make room for HIM.
Of course, we may get busted by the moderator for posting something non-weather related. How about we say that Leinhart is considering a move to the cold, snowy confines of Rich Stadium in Orchard Park, NY????
