Could be a seriously blown forecast

The "second wave" of T-storms is moving into Louisville, KY. The NWS spokesman said earlier today it should "blast through", but the radars is not showing it "by-passing" or "blasting by". Yuk! One official station this morning recorded over 6 inches in one hour! Call Al Gore!! - HLG

Rainfall measurements of up to 6.5 inches were reported in the metro area during Tuesday morning's storm, almost double the average rainfall for the entire month of August.

National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Callahan said a second system moving in from Illinois could hit the Louisville area by 2 p.m.

Callahan said there is a chance it will bypass Louisville. Unlike Tuesday morning's storm, which was stationary over Louisville for three hours, the afternoon storm is expected to “blast through,” Callahan said
