It does seem like a double standard to complain when the NHC nails a forecast, even if it is one YOU COMPLETELY BLEW. I know they were slow on "GUSTAV", which killed 800 plus Haitians, completely destroyed their food crops for this year, and made hundreds of villages completely cut-off, but man-0-man did they nail this one! Who could have possibly missed this enormous system on the very day it was deepening like a bomb????

WHAT FORECAST?!?!?!? NHC had NOTHING forecasted in the Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook (GTWO), their Tropical Weather Outlook (TWO) or the Circular Reporting Atlantic Prediction (CRAP) for yesterday. Not even a low probability thingy. Now we have the smallest tropical storm on record? A Hurricane Hunter plane goes out to measure Marco? A thunderstorm with strong winds? What is happening here??? We were begging, BEGGING to have a plane do some sort of recon in front of Gustav and Ike. NOW THIS??? Do Nicole Mitchell's outfits really have that much power???
