"IKE" Windfield Forecast

This graphic, from the outstanding Stormpulse.com tool shows the current NHC forecasted windfield, just prior to landfall on Sat/Sun. The hurricane winds will stretch from east of Port Arthur , TX on the Louisiana border, to near Corpus Christi! This is simply unprecedented in modern times for Texas. You have to go back to pre-modern measurement storms, most-likely The Great Galveston Storm, or before, to find this kind of wind event! Yikes!
