This graphic from WSE is one of the best I have seen mapping the inland winds to be expected from "IKE". I think we focus too much on the coast-line with our watches/warnings, but this shows the vast area (> 30 million people) that will effected by major winds. Poor Louisiana. Most of SW/NW LA was relatively spared the power outages from"GUSTAV". Not this time. GEAUX TIGRES! (Can't cancel that big game against North Texas, no way!)
