Regardless of what the models are saying!

Shoot, TD???? Looks like it could be a storm already. I think the folks at the NHC may be asleep at the wheel. Maybe they're busy planning their vacations for the off-season????

HLG, do you have the link to the scatterometry passes?? I'd like to see if there have been any recent passes. I've been flip-flopping on computers and don't have the link on this one.

Yeah ya think? Have you seen Bob's post today???? I haven't been on the computer much in the last few days because
a. my laptop crashed
b. Had to buy a desktop
c. Had to recover data from laptop
d. Luckily found my original laptop drive and its working again.

Yet I digress. Yes no doubt it's a storm and the models spin it up into a hurricane. Think I am going to Bob's site to ask him where he is getting his information that the season is essentially over.....

He'll probably claim that he means our season is over ... he has been on that kick lately ... "When we get through the 1st week in October, blah, blah, blah". Checked the latest scat pass and although it looks like the outflow is setting up nicely in the sat imagery, the scatt still doesn't show a closed low.

At least the models take it up the East Coast ... may even see the Fujiwara effect later this week ... a Nor'easter is supposed to set up and the storm and the Nor'easter may dance around each other. Cool stuff.

Of course, the models also have also been trying to spin up storms in the Bay of Campeche and Western Caribbean for the past couple of days. We'll see if the season is over for us or not.
