STS "LAURA"


Well we have our first Sub-Tropical Storm of the season. This is an odd storm, but the scatterometry is a beautiful, extremely large, nearly perfectly concentric windfield.
It still begs the question about the earlier low that went into Carolinas. All the science pointed at at least a TD or STD, but nothing. Was this just political since they didn't think it had time to develop so close to coast?
