Ooops Did we say Cat 1? We meant Cat 2

"DATA FROM AN AIR FORCE RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT INDICATE THAT
GUSTAV CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN AND NOW HAS MAXIMUM WINDS NEAR 100
MPH...155 KM/HR WITH HIGHER GUSTS. THIS MAKES GUSTAV A CATEGORY TWO
HURRICANE ON THE SAFFIR-SIMPSON HURRICANE SCALE" NHC (update 10 minutes after previous scheduled update) WTF?

There is something strange about the NHC advisories this year. They have done this several times where they comeback with "late breaking news" from the recon plane. Don't you think they know the plane is there and would hold the advisory for a few minutes???

Maybe not, but it seems like a "stay tuned to us between advisories" game sometimes.
